A small team of chefs, growers, and educators building one of the country’s only farm-to-table programs on the inside. We've taken root in West Philly at the Philadelphia Juvenile Justice Services Center (PJJSC); a facility that incarcerates young people who are navigating the court system while awaiting the resolution of their case. 

Since 2022, over 400 young people have explored the food system from seedling to seasoning with us.

A Dream Preferred harnesses the healing power of plants and food, providing young people guidance and opportunities to pursue agriculture and culinary arts as off-ramps to long-term involvement with the crimminal legal system.
